Brainstorm of possible purposes/activities of the club
- Possible book club-but remember! English majors already have a lot of assigned reading!
- Poetry explications- discussion of poetry in the meeting
- Proof reading of fellow members' assignments or side projects
- Possible guest speakers to guid post-graduate work (Stapleton?)
- Discussion of plays and their movies
- Read plays prior to live performance
- Group good for networking with other students as well as professors
- Fundraisers. Need ideas.
- *Group vote on times for meetings. Officers must attend*
- Newsletters or emails. Joci will start facebook page
- Lectures from professors
- Guest speakers/authors
- Joci is now in charge of "Public Relations"
- Need a club motto
- Post constitution so members can offer suggestions
- Event "play night" at Professor Hile's house on Oct. 25
- Next meeting: Oct 14, Wednesday at 1:15?
